Safeguarding

All the parishes within the benefice are committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults.

We follow the House of Bishops' guidance and policies and each parish has its own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). All office holders within the Benefice have completed Safeguarding Training and all members of the safeguarding and ministry team, Leadership Safeguarding Training. The Diocese of Norwich's safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advises our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed, or may be at risk of harm, please contact the PSO or DSA.

If you have a concern about the safety of someone or the actions of a person working with children or vulnerable adults, please speak out and stay safe.
